Polina desires World Peace, whilst others desire...
To play.
To die.
To not get comfortable.
To keep their desires fresh.
With an international ensemble of performers we consider our myriad desires – romantic, political, physical, hidden, desperate – against the desire plots of Maxim Gorky’s play Summerfolk.
Like Polina and Gorky, you may desire to change the course of history – and discover you can’t. And you might leave wishing to never desire again – just to find...peace.
