Outlandish Theatre in collaboration with madeinroath invited local artists and community participants to create performance responses to FEAR in a week-long residency at Braeval Street Studios.
Multi-disciplinary makers and performers created a theatre-of-the-everyday film documentary engaging place and people. Dublin OTP performers participated, sharing and further developing their FEAR performances.
The residency culminated in a live performance, film screening and discussion at madeinroath’s studios on Braveal Street. Open Theatre Practice explores the art of social documentation, is a theatre of ruins considering human suffering within our physical and social landscapes, interrupting everyday street life where humans go about their day led by visible and invisible systems.
The residency facilitated the development of a successful working model to share the Open Theatre Practice methodology in a creative week-long process to generate new performances.
