Neglected Dublin theatre could be in line for a revival

An Irish Times article by Colin Coyle reports that the Rupert Guinness Theatre on Watling Street, Dublin 8, requires ‘substantial investment’.

The Rupert Guinness Theatre on Watling Street, Dublin 8, first opened 1951 but hasn't been used since 2019 and now requires "substantial investment", according to Guinness owner Diageo. Minister for Arts Catherine Martin has committed to carrying out a feasibility study to invest in the facilities.
